DOUBLE EXPOSURE: 2 OF 11 – INTUITIVE LIGHT EXPLORATION

The 11.11 Project is an expression of my imagination through 11 distinct projects. Double Exposure, the second installment of the series, explores light as the medium: portraits transformed. I posed a male model in a pitch-dark studio, illuminated with geometric graphics projected from a light projector. The model sits on a large plastic sheet to give the illusion of water, creating a dynamic composition and surreal aesthetic, drawing the viewer into a world between the digital and the physical. After digital manipulation and color grading, the images were printed with matte ink onto a horizontally brushed metal surface of aluminum Dibond adding a striking impact—a bright metallic shimmer shines in the white areas, creating a dazzling effect as you move across the light. The collection showcases my vision and transforms the power of light as an artistic tool. The 11.11 Project aims to challenge traditional notions of beauty and representation, using technology to create unique works of art.

As part of my commitment to social responsibility, Double Exposure is dedicated to all those with ADHD and on the spectrum. I hope to challenge them to think outside society’s ideal norms and embrace their unique perspectives and abilities. Therefore, I am donating 11.11% of net sales to the chadd.org foundation for scholarships. Each image is a limited edition of 1,111 pieces and is available for $1,111 each.
